Gay McCornack
Gay has always been fascinated by design, action sports, and horses. To her pure joy and good fortune, she found herself photographing some of the finest subjects in the world. A strong background in business and years of involvment in the arts brought a critical eye to her work and a professional approach to her trade. Gay brings a clear understsanding of the objectives of each assignment, setting a standard for excellence.
Born in Seattle,Washington, she lived 20 years in Scottsdale Arizona and divides her time between both locations. Gay has traveled and photographed extensively from the Amazon river to the peaks of Rainier. The past few years she has had the privilege of meeting icons of the equine industry while documenting some of the most elegant and competitive equine athletes including Count Federico Zichy-Thyssens’ ‘El Atalaya’ in Argentina.
Gay is a serious endurance competitor in addition to skiing and photographing summer and winter athletics. She continues to accept commercial, editorial and assignment jobs worldwide.
