The 2007 Northwest Wine Summit (NWWS), now in its twelfth year, was held at the historic Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood on April 22, 23 and 24, 2007. The Northwest Wine Summit is the largest wine competition held in the Pacific Northwest and attracts some of the best talent available to judge the more than one thousand wines entered in 2007. Here's how we did:
2005 Dry White Riesling - Silver
2004 Red Mountain Cab. - Silver
2005 Chardonnay - Bronze
2005 Merlot - Bronze
2005 Trois Chevoux Rouges - Bronze

The first of the red 2005 vintage has just won a bronze medal at the Riverside International Wine Competition. Our 2005 Merlot took the medal. We just bottled this wine on Nov. 15, 2006 and released it Jan. 1, 2007. This is an early ripening, fruit forward, blackberry and raspberry aroma sipping wine that goes well with red meats and salmon.
