Lilly-Anne Wilder

Lilly-Anne Wilder learned to sew from her mother when she was a young girl. As a teenager, she applied the concepts of sewing to create and sell beadwork for spending money. She always loved new experiences and the chance to learn new skills, which her life experiences reflect.

Lilly-Anne explored a number of fields during her college years; interior design, art, engineering and drafting. Finally, she settled on a double degree in Advertising and Philosophy at the University of Washington. Though she worked in marketing and advertising for many years she continued to produce artwork as a hobby. She experimented in a multitude of art media including, paint, paper, fiber, fabric, beads, clay, wood and stone. Her interests in other cultures and her fascination with beads led her to incorporate cultural beading and embroidery styles into her art.

In 2001, Lilly-Anne jumped at an opportunity to make her vacation home in Leavenworth, Washington a year-round living experience. The move gave her the opportunity to change directions in her career, making her hobby her work. She went full circle with her career, once again creating and selling beadwork.

Currently, you can find Lilly-Anne's work at the Moses Lake Museum and Art Center (MAC). She frequently exhibits work at Miller Fine Arts Gallery in Leavenworth.

Lilly-Anne is a member of the Artist's Guild of Leavenworth and the Fiber Arts Guild of Leavenworth.
