Peggy Daczewitz-Hamlin
Peggy was born on 1950 in Chicago, Illinois. As a child she loved the color of the four
seasons, especially the Fall and Winter. She visited Bavaria, Germany in 1968 and was
touched by the beauty of the area. The Bavaria scenes included breathtaking views of the
towering Alps, gorgeous murals painted on buildings and rushing rivers you could see for miles.
The seed was planted in 1968 as young adult and her dream came true 33 years later as she now
resides in in the little village of Leavenworth, Washington. "The Bavarian Village".
Peggy was so inspired by the beauty of the area that she picked up a camera and has never looked
back.
Peggy has taken over 12,000 pictures of the Leavenworth area since she arrived on September
2001. She feels a passion for the area beyond words.
