Sara Nadeau
Sara began to paint full time over twenty years ago after having worked in advertising and television production both in Toronto and New York. At the same time, she attended art colleges part time. Upon moving to California in 1978 where she lived for ten years, she continued to study fine art, sculpting and fresco painting at various colleges.
Nature, architecture and the human condition play a great role in her work. She generally takes photographs or does sketches on location, then executes the actual painting in her studio, playing with the visual construction and juxtaposition.
She has lived in Nova Scotia for the past six years and recently has spent time in Vancouver and Florida doing commission work.
She presently lives in Wolfville where she has her studio.
